I'm a digital strategist with 15 years experience selling and leading teams on the agency side in the development and delivery of innovative integrated marketing initiatives for multinational corporations, NGOs, federal government agencies and military commands.
I've been invited to present at conferences all over the world about how technology is changing the way organizations communicate and the way people use media and information.
I've given keynote presentations at Social Media Week Los Angeles and Rome, USMC Public Affairs Conference, Environmental Defense Fund Annual Conference, The Licensing Show, Cable and Television Association for Marketing (CTAM), Market Research Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
I've presented breakout sessions at SXSW, CES, NAB and Ad Tech. And I've given talks at nearly 300 other public and private events since 2006.
I'm an expert at digital strategy, digital governance, content marketing, database marketing, user experience design, employee advocacy, education technology, digital multimedia production, B2B lead generation, search engine optimization and social media engagement techniques.
I've held top strategic marketing posts at two public companies and am best-selling author of Social Marketing to the Business Customer.
I've been producing social media training seminars to accelerate digital literacy in the workplace since 2004. I'm also the digital strategist behind Comply Socially which provides online social media training to Discovery Education, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, Texas A&M, UTC Aerospace, Yamaha Corp and others.
And I'm the digital strategist behind iPressroom, which hosts and manages online corporate newsrooms for Target, UCLA, Yahoo!, Linkedin and others. I sold my majority stake in 2010.
I supervised account teams at two public relations agencies, handling client relationships and overseeing client services including strategic communications, media relations and digital marketing for clients such as The Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears World Tour, The Salt Lake Olympics, Cirque du Soleil, Lucasfilm, Renaissance Cruise Lines, MGM Resorts and others. Before that, I was VP of marketing and product development at a gaming company we took public on the NASDAQ exchange.
I've been producing the award-winning podcast “On the Record...Online” (@ontherecord) since 2005. Past guests include Walt Mossberg, David Pogue, David Carr, John Markoff, Nikki Finke, Peter Bart and hundred of other journalists and newsmakers.
