Webcasts, Digital Downloads and Podcasts: The Magic Trio

Webcasts, on-demand digital downloads and podcasts all have their benefits, but together they offer listeners the most flexibility in how they consume your content. So next time you produce a webcast, don’t just record the audio and archive it on your site. RSS-enable it and serve it up as a podcast as well. Similarly, if your offering your audio programs via RSS, but not as a digital download, you’re missing a significant part of the potential audience that doesn’t use RSS.

I’ll be covering this in depth in my next Executive Podcasting Workshop which is happening Thursday, May 25 in Los Angeles. This is seminar for non-techies who want to learn the ins and outs of podcasting so they can evaluate their business podcasting prospects with greater knowledge and perspective.
