I just read a poem by Rudyard Kipling in a short piece in the NY Times Week in Review section by David Mamet on Arthur Miller’s passing, and I think it speaks volumes about why Ketchum PR’s decision not to respond to repeated requests for comment on the Williams/Dept. of Education scandal is wrong…

One service more we dare to ask –
Pray for us, heroes, pray,
That when Fate lays us on our task
We do not shame the day.
