Early Show Plugs SlingBox, Smith Plugs SpongeBob

WCBS Technology Editor Brett Larson did a segment on cool gadgets thing morning on The Early Show. Among the cosnumer electronics demoed were sunglasses from Oakley with a built in Blue Tooth ear cell phone ear piece, a new portable media center and the place-shifting Sling Box which records and lets you email your TV shows to your computer.

Harry Smith asked how many hours of TV the portable media center holds and Larson said about a hundred. Smith then went on to say that you could probably hold every episode of SpongeBob. No conicidence, since the Nickelodeon program is owned by CBS Television Networks corporate parent Viacom.
