Defamer.com Beats Los Angeles Times on Russell Crowe Assault Claim

Trust the Los Angeles Times to deliver the best entertainment business coverage of the national print dailies, but not as quickly as Defamer.com.

A quote from celebrity publicist Robin Baum’s written statement explaining Crowe’s recent outburst appears in today’s Calendar. It appeared yesterday on the Defamer blog, which kindly stroke’s Baums public relations expertise.

My prediction is that The Times will need to expand the depth of its entertainment business coverage to maintain its edge over this business sector, which it remain strategically located in proximity wise, unless of course, the Internet winds up nullifying the advantage of geography.
