According to Sarah McBride, who writes the Advertising column in today’s Wall Street Journal:

“…Earlier this week, Clear Channel Communications Inc., of San Antonio, said it was requesting proposals from companies that could provide a new [radio audience measurement] system.

‘What we are looking are audience estimates and audience data that aren’t reliant on decades-old technology,’ said John Hogan, Clear Channel’s head of radio…”
