Claude Brodesser and Kevin Roderick Confirmed as Speakers for UCLA New Media Course

I am thrilled to report that former Variety reporter Claude Brodesser who hosts NPR’s “The Business” and who blogs at TMZ.com, and Los Angeles news media veteran Kevin Roderick who edits LAObserved.com are both confirmed to appear as panelists for our final Feb. 21st session of my course on new media communications at UCLA, which begins Jan. 24, 2007.

They will join LATimes.com GM Rob Barrett for a panel discussion that I will moderate about the impact of new media on the mainstream news media business. There’s still time to sign up and plenty of other new media insiders are scheduled to speak.

Hope to see you there.
